To make sure it’s not all about studying, there will be opportunities for students to socialise, relax and have fun. Within the programme there will be opening and closing ceremonies and a celebratory dinner.
In the evenings our Senior Mentor team will run a fun and diverse social and cultural programme and students will have a choice of what to get involved in, from sport to theatre, debating, music, design and much more! We’ll be holding a talent show in the second week so students are able to showcase their talents whether it be comedy, musical performance, dance, juggling – you name it, we want to see it.
In addition to the above activities we will also be giving students the opportunity to hear from and network with a number of top professionals from a range of careers as well as the opportunity to get involved in the future development of our online IGGY community.
We like to keep students busy and active on our residential schools but understand the need for some down-time so this is scheduled in each day. Students will have time throughout the course to call their families, read or spend time online and socialise with new friends.
If students have school work they need to complete while they are away we can offer then a quiet study space and time to get this completed.
If students want to attend religious observance for a particular faith we can organise this within the programme and will supervise their attendance.
