We are pleased to offer students the opportunity to stay on our beautiful campus. Attendees will stay in student accommodation only minutes away from the teaching spaces, restaurant and all the campus facilities.
All students will stay in Tocil Halls of Residence. Tocil is centrally located and within a few minutes’ walk of campus facilities. Students will live together in single sex flat groups with 8-10 other students of a similar age. A Senior Mentor will also live with each group in the flat and supervise them at all times. Students will have their own bedroom and will share single sex bathroom facilities and a communal living space with their flat group. Female and male students will be accommodated in separate buildings and supervised at all times.
In addition to our Senior Mentor team we have a 24/7 nursing team available to all students at the Residential School. Our nurses are all fully qualified paediatric nurses who usually work in hospitals in the UK.
Students are supervised 24/7 during the Residential School and our team of enthusiastic Senior Mentors (SMs) will be available to students at all times.
Our SMs are typically university graduates or postgraduate students with a commitment to education and an understanding of the particular challenges of working with students in an intense environment and all have experience of working with young people between the ages of 11-18 years.
Students will be assigned to a group of between 8-10 students led by a Senior Mentor who will also live with them throughout the Residential School. Senior Mentors provide pastoral and welfare care for students as well as organising and delivering our evening social and cultural programme.
Students are provided with all their food and refreshments as part of the cost of the residential course.
We can cater for special dietary requirements and will discuss this further with you once your application has been accepted.
